Who We Are

The Chinese Community Center is a nonprofit 501c3 organization based in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. Founded by a group of grassroots community organizers with diverse professional backgrounds, we connect the local Chinese and AAPI communities to public resources, provide social and educational services, and host cultural events. Our efforts are united around one central theme: to provide a home away from home for our community members.

Public Policy

Focuses on understanding and advising on issues that impact the community, ensuring that policies reflect the needs and interests of local residents.

Community Engagement

To develop progressive partnerships among the community and other AAPI communities for mutual benefit.

Career Development

We are dedicated to creating business opportunities for minority entrepreneurs and advancing career growth for all, actively communicating our impact.

Government Relations

Maintains connections with government agencies, provides guidance on community-related matters, and delivers timely responses to inquiries from officials and the public.

Learning Initiatives

Partnering to drive learning initiatives, we offer educational opportunities in language, culture, and art, along with tutoring in Mandarin, Cantonese, math, and science.

Business Opportunities

We build pathways to success by strengthening minority-owned businesses all while forging a strong, recognizable identity within our community.

Came here for the 2025 Lunar New Year festival. Very nice easy-to-find location with plenty of free parking on the street and lots around. Many people of different ethnicities showed up for the festival. The event was very inviting. Lots of booths of businesses and food stations. It was really crowded everywhere, but I got couple of free goodies 🙂
